La Belle Alliance is my comfort pub and a true temple for beer lovers in Milan. When it comes to “the real craft experience”, LBA is and has been a landmark in the Conchetta area since 2002. Whenever somebody’s visiting, I take them there; whenever I need a consolation beer, I head there; whenever I don’t wanna miss the Italy National Basketball team play (or any soccer match for that matter, but that wouldn’t be my… cup of beer) I meet with my friends there.

La Belle Alliance serves the best domestic and international craft beers on tap, and bottle. There’s twenty to twenty-five draft beers on rotation (about half now, due to Covid-19) and the taps switch basically every other week; never have I complained about a single one of them! Food-wise, they serve the juiciest burgers, the obvious “beerballs” as well as a few interesting veggie options, such as the gorgonzola (blue cheese) tater tots. Grab a seat in the dehors, place your order and have a full “craft beer blast”.

The staff at LBA may not be the warmest but you’ll find out soon enough that under that armor they are the best connoisseurs in the field: tell them what you’re into and they’ll come up with the most remarkable beer for you.
