There’s a place around town where everything is green and yummy: It’s AVO Brothers, the avocado-themed restaurant that carries forward the guac revolution in Milan.

In the last couple of years, the love for this luscious green fruit has spread worldwide and the famous avocado toast started replacing the traditional Milanese weekend breakfast, that would be “cappuccio e brioche” – cappuccino and croissant.

Nobody can resist the super exotic and yummy avocado, agreed – and that’s what AVO Brothers has built its success on. It’s a small and lovely all-green restaurant that serves burgers, healthy bowls and original appetizers – pretty much all of them based on fresh, organic avocados. Their signature dish is the super green “avo burger”, and on top of that they now serve Beyond Meat burgers too. Along with your food, you can choose between all-natural juices, teas or kombucha.

Whether I visit AVO for brunch or at dinnertime I love the food and really like the atmosphere; besides, they also make an effort to be doubly greener by being plastic-free and using coconut bowls and napkins/straws made from recycled materials. Also, how cute are those little avocados wearing sunglasses hanging on the wall, and those posters and paintings with avocados everywhere?
