Don't mix it up with Saint Petersburg. This tiny park in the centre of Moscow I like for its quiet atmosphere and romantic hints.
The first time I heard about this spot I was listening to the radio "Silver rain"; in the early 2000s they opened a "Love monument" there, dedicated to St.Valentine. There is a legend that if your boy/girlfriend and you walk through this construction hand in hand, you will never break up. Nice tradition.
From time to time there are music festivals held here – mostly on summer weekends. In winter there is always an ice-rink. So there is always a lot of things to do.
Another point of attraction here is 32.05 cafe, famous for its terrace and atmosphere of never-ending spring (well, the name says much already). And don't forget about small "Novaya Opera" theatre if you like it.
The main advantage of this spot is that it's really quite and I notice if after entering the garden from the side of busy Petrovka street. A chill Saturday with a laptop and delicious flat-white coffee is something to enjoy!
P.S. Now this venue hosts an icerink too, the winter season is long but still miss the opportunity to skate there a bit!
