If it is Friday evening, after a lecture or event nearby, my space-crazy friends and I like to gather in the basement of this small and cozy pub (yes, cosmonauts drink beer too!) to discuss the future of space exploration.
This place is filled with a romantic atmosphere, with red brick walls, tables made of ancient Singer sewing machines, and extremely happy (and helpy) staff having tons of fun with their job.
They have a dozen of various decent beers, ales and ciders on tap, with two taps of really cool and strange tastes like watermelon cider, rotated weekly, and many more bottled. The food is pretty cool for a pub, too: tasty burgers (“Cocky Tony” is my favorite, stuffed with brie cheese and cherry/honey confiture), snacks, grilled shrimps, etc. The only disappointment is that the kitchen closes at 11PM.
There are live guitar concerts from time to time, but overall the place is pretty quiet, allowing for a good conversation with your friends!
There is a ApARTe theater nearby, so don’t be surprised if actors coming here to hang out after the shows start improvising and playing some roles right inside the pub!
