I stumbled on this spot a few years ago and I never would have known it was there if I always walked the main streets. This is an odd thing to describe but somehow this skeleton has a lot of power. There is something about outlines that make the interior of an object that much more appealing.
The Iconic Ghost House of Ben Franklin and his print shop is nestled behind the Ben Franklin Museum surrounded by very tall buildings. You can happen by it by walking from Market Street or Chestnut Street by a small alley way on each side. Well at least they feel like alleyways.
I like to visit this place and take in what once was and what is there now. It's a pretty empowering structure that is impressive by itself and how the surrounding area puts it into context. You can also look into small sections of glass near the house to see the original foundations of the building. If you have a few minutes to walk by here and just admire the structure, I think you'll enjoy it.
