Have you been craving some good German beer but just haven't been able to find a stein's worth in town? What about schnitzel or some wurst of varying kinds? Better yet, your soccer team is playing.
Brauhaus Schmitz is a great place for all these things and has a great atmosphere for eating, drinking, or watching soccer. They pipe in all the Bundesliga matches and you can pair them up with a great selection of German beers. If you're a USA Fan and want to cheer on them in any internationals or friendlies, you can watch them here. There is even a large backroom for bigger matches.
The Union, Philadelphia's own soccer team in the MLS also has a place here. Brauhaus has an awesome deal for Union games. The Union, and I'm not going to get into why they do because it upsets me, play their games down in Chester. Brauhaus offers a phenomenal deal. Call beforehand to book a spot and for around 25 bucks you can get in a school bus and drink beer all the way to the stadium. You still need to buy your own tickets but once a year they do a promotion for tickets and bus for a very cheap price. And guess what, they even bring you back after the game! What a deal!
So if you're looking to partake in the worlds two favorite pastimes check out Brauhaus for a variety of pairing options.
