The Schmidt's Commons goes by many different names, mostly because it is an apartment building with a lot of shops on the first floor and a large gathering place in the middle. What sets this apartment building apart from the rest though is that the designer loved the old Piazza's of Italy and wanted to incorporate that into the space.
Not only does it draw people to live there but it has drawn people from all over the city to hang out there as well. There are shops all around the large open square where you can get everything from food and drinks to antiques and records. The open area offers a large TV on the side of the building where you can catch your favorite games or movies while you hang out with friends. And just as in Italy, this space brings people together to share ideas and meet new friends.
The management company also hosts a lot of great events that change all of the time but the best part is everyone is invited, not just the residents.
