If you are in town and yours sport team plays a match, I strongly recommend you visit Adega Sports Bar. This place has an incredibly amount of TVs with a whole bunch of channels, so everybody can watch the sport they want. It's personally one of my favorite places to watch a match, and I'll tell you why.
Besides the huge amount of TVs and amazing staff, they offer lots of beers from different countries, liquors, ciders, cocktails, wines (including port wine), soft drinks and coffees — so, you see... everybody can be happy at this place. A small craft beer of Super Bock (we call it "fino") only costs €1 (till 22:00), but don't worry, because they serve a XXXXL sized beer for €10 (if you are with your friends, it’s totally worth it).
Oh, you're hungry and don't want to leave the spot? Don't worry; they serve burgers, hot dogs, bifanas (a typical pork sandwich), snacks like peanuts, lupin beans (or, as they call it, "tremoços"), French fries and onion rings. But they are really really famous for their chicken wild wings. So, if you want to taste something local, I would suggest the wings, the bifanas or the lupin beans — because Portuguese people like them a lot and they’re pretty local dishes.
If you get there early, you can even make some friends while playing table football, pool, darts or beer pong. If you get there late and the place is crowded, try the upper floor.
