Near Boavista, near the Bom Sucesso Market, there's an old restaurant, snack and coffee bar with the name Convivio. It's a landmark of Porto for its history in the city. The employees are usually very nice and they have a specific dress code. You can find there a menu with several choices, including seafood.
I decided to write about this one because these days it's the restaurant where my group of friends and I go for dinner whenever we want to have a francesinha together. My friends love this place because they really enjoy the sauce and all the ingredients they use for it. Last October, I decided to show this restaurant to my wife so she could also try the sauce.
At the beginning of the dinner, we asked for some croquettes, which I recommend because they were served warm, delicious and had a lot of meat.
We ordered a francesinha with a steak and fries. We enjoyed it a lot, so I decided to share with you the photo that I took before I started eating. I had a beer and my wife had a coke.
In the end of the dinner, we asked for dessert. I really recommend their chocolate mousse.
