A couple of years ago, all my appetite revolved around meat and greasy stuff. But, by influence of my girlfriend (who I thank in advance for preventing a stroke before my forties!) showed me that there's more to food than fried meat, Italian pastas or the amazing but heavy Portuguese cuisine. So Sebouh fits in the category of restaurants that serves mostly vegetarian food, but can and will satisfy even the most carnivorous fork!
Sabores do Sebouh translates into "Flavours of Sebouh". And Sebouh doesn't translate to anything, since it's the name of the owner and cook, a Sirian that fell in love with a Portuguese lady and, well, the rest is history.
And speaking about history, Sebouh will gladly share his own life's story with you: he's quite the Globetrotter, so I guarantee that you'll love him!
The food could hardly get any better. Sebouh only uses fresh ingredients, used in different dishes, from exotic salads to the more traditional falafel. And everything is proudly homemade.
In addition, the price is really low for this kind of food: you can easily leave the restaurant only € 10 poorer, and plainly satisfied.
So, if you're looking for a great meal and a first friend in Porto, Sabores de Sebouh is the place to go!
