Vršovice has been becoming one of the trendiest districts of the city over the last few years. It is known for its old-school, hip-feeling bars, the local music scene and the inclusivity (check out Café V lese, Bar Pilotů, Patra etc.)
Vršovické náměstí (Vršovice square) is one of my personal favorite places to stroll around in the afternoons. A lot of dog owners live in the neighborhood, so there is always an opportunity to dog-watch (which is always a plus point).
Botanica is primarily a trendy flower and gardening shop. The owners, however, created a unique concept of showcasing their work in the adjacent courtyard. And let me tell you, they do it well.
The courtyard is one of the coziest spots to visit. It is decorated seasonally, there are a lot of plants, string lights, a hammock, and a lot of places to sit and observe. Get a coffee (they only take cards, so be prepared for that) from the truck and (as pretty much everyone that comes here) a pic for your Instagram. Be prepared, the Insta baddies come in full force. If you are not necessarily into Insta culture, I would recommend going for the more hidden places in the back of the yard to enjoy your drink in peace. And be sure to check out the flower shop on the way out!
