A vivacious hideaway in plain sight located right in the heart of Prishtina, this café-meets-wine place-meets flower shop beckons you with the cutest iron cat that glows with a buttery yellow light at night. Once a sophisticated flower-chocolate-gift shop, since 2018 it has been catering to a diverse crowd seeking premium quality tea, coffee, and wine – and with a sweet tooth. The soothing smells of butter cookies, coffee, and calming herbal tea of varied flavors permeate the interior, where charm meets cozy. A shelf with live plants arranged in an aesthetic pattern welcomes you inside. Next, you see the sparkling clean glass counters filled with chocolate drops, lemon cakes, apple crumble or double chocolate mousse glass jars, carefully prepared by Ardita, the owner of the place.
It is my top favorite place in Prishtina, part of my ritual of “happiness” and self-care. I go there to savor the morning foamy macchiato, which comes with a bottle of water infused with citrus fruit and mint and freshly baked butter cookies; the midday cup of tea, and the occasional evening glass of wine from their lavish selection of local and international brands. If I sit on the narrow balcony, I can observe the bustling life of Prishtina, while surrounded by the serenity of the place. It has top service. You enter as a customer and leave as a friend. A place to remember that it is the little things and quiet rituals that make life memorable.
