When writing about favourite spots, a fact that’s often being included is how wonderfully the place offers an escape from the daily rush and a place to enjoy a quiet moment. In Burga it’s nothing like that. No matter what time of the day, the place is always full of people chatting, waiters hurrying and preparing food, making Burga an extremely lively lunch spot.
Burga has been around for quite some time and as far as my knowledge goes, initially it’s considered a bar rather than a lunch spot. Honestly, I’ve never really seen it that way, nor have I been a part of Friday beer drinking here. To me, Burga has always been a place to stop for a quick (depends on how much time it takes to finish possibly the biggest Caesar salad in town – may be tough for petite bellies) meal and leave with a happy stomach.
Burga is quite spacious, yet be aware that finding no vacant tables is a usual scene during daytime. Normally, it won’t take long and there will be a seat available within a few minutes. Patience, patience, patience and you’ll gain a very pleasant lunch experience.
