Dearhunter is a vintage shop with clothes and accessories right on the corner of Eendrachtsweg. It overlooks the wide green strip of the Eendrachtssingel, one of the few green spots with water in Rotterdam.
I first visited Dearhunter when I moved to Rotterdam, as it is close to my house, therefore I wanted to get acquainted with my neighbourhood. Since then, I go there when I want to get inspiration for my outfits. Even when the shop is closed, I just stop outside or lower my pace to check the new arrivals from the high windows.
Funky accessories from the ’60s, often eccentric, always with a personality, invite you to disregard current trends and renew your garderobe in a creative way. There are earrings from the 80’s, leather purses and scarves, but most of all clothes, lots of clothes arranged by colour. Expensive brands are mixed with unknown ones and there is always something to catch your attention. Plus, the prices are good, and the quality of the clothes is great.
Here you will meet people of all ages, mostly locals who chat with the owner or people who come in and try the sunglasses and hats and they just indulge in the treasure hunt.
