Ever have one of those days when you’re remembering how it was to be a kid? Well, I have them quite a lot. Luckily I have found a true solution to this difficult problem: Freestyle Motion Rotterdam. Freestyle Motion is a place where you could feel just like a kid again and work out at the same time!
Freestyle Motion is a 2500m2 indoor hall filled with trampolines. Many trampolines. There are regular trampolines, large trampolines for the gymnastics, a tricking floor and a free running parkour -- enough to jump your ass off. You can do somersaults, back flips, spins, basically whatever you are capable of.
But, you are not the only one who wants to be a child again. Turns out, children want to be children as well. And the little ones are quite crafty. They do backflips like it isn’t a big deal, so don’t let your ego stand in the way. And it is quite the work-out. After 15 minutes I was gasping for air. Take it slowly.
To reach Freestyle Motion you need to take subway line A (in the direction of Binnenhof) or line B (in the direction of Nesselande) and get out at station Alexander. From there it is a few minute walk to your child dreams. It takes around 25-30 minutes total from subway station Beurs to get there.
