Grab your camera and soar through the air. The swing in Bill Goat Park offers the feeling of flying and a great view of downtown, Dogpatch, the Mission, and Bernal Hill. If you head up around sunset you might catch the fog rolling over Twin Peaks.
Bill Goat Park is nestled between the picturesque Noe Valley and Glen Park neighborhoods. Bill Goat is a 10 minute walk from the 30th and Church street Muni stop or 20 minute walk from the Glen Park BART station. There is limited street parking on Beacon and Ladley street.
If the swing is missing or you have a healthy fear of heights, this is a perfect spot for a picnic! The ground can be a little damp from the morning fog, so you might want to bring something to sit on. If you search #billygoathill on Instagram you should be able to tell if the swing is up.
