There's so much to do in the Marina, walking around can work up an appetite, so if that’s where you are, pop into Kara’s Cupcakes. You won’t regret it.
Kara’s Cupcakes is the brainchild of Kara Haspel Lind. She attended Tante Marie’s Professional Pastry School in San Francisco (much to the chagrin of her dentist father), and because her cupcakes are so delectable and moist and to die for, she didn’t have to wait long for the word of her fabulous creations to spread. They’re so popular that she now has five stores and the Marina Store is the original.
So, if you’re in the mood for cupcakes, cakes, or something sweet to soothe your sweet tooth, stop by. You’ll want to sit down and gobble up everything in the place with maybe a big glass of milk or a cup of coffee. By the way, she also does cakes and artisan sweets, which include her own hot cocoa blend and handmade marshmallows to go on top if you like. She also ships her custom gift boxes as well as her Karamel Sauce, handmade marshmallows, and Karamel Corn. Sounds like heaven to me.
If you aren’t craving a sweet by now, something is wrong with you. Go there. You know you want to.
