Centered almost perfectly within San Francisco, you will find a lovely coffee and bread goods shop. Nestled in the NOPA (North of the Panhandle) neighborhood, is The Mill. Its red brick exterior is attractive and cute. It makes one curious straight away! The Mill is a business collaboration between Four Barrel Coffee and Josey Baker Bread.  Together they really nailed something special. Anyone can start a coffee shop, right? But often it’s hard to get a good additional treat to go along with said coffee.

It’s a popular spot, make no mistake. However, I find the usual wait is well worth it. It’s just kind of fun to people watch and see interactions between the patrons. I’m partial to their cinnamon sugar toast. But gosh, there are so many tasty toast selections. And goodness gracious, it’s hard to grab a bag of whole beans from their retail shelf. Why not? If you’re a coffee person, you’ll understand the impulse. In addition, the interior offers fun natural lighting with sexy wooden beams. Gasp!
