Here is one of the most Instagrammable facade in the centre of Sofia.
It is a big painting from the popular Bulgarian artist Nasimo who is best known for his huge graffiti masterpieces on several facades in the city.
The name of this one is Дар божий (Dar Bozhiy) and it represents Rada – a young woman wearing traditional Bulgarian clothes called “nosiya” and all kind of festivity accessories. It is a curious example of local tradition through the eyes of modern street art.
I’m only showing you a small part of the painting here so if you want to see the whole picture and enjoy the majesty of it you need to visit the place.
This graffiti was drawn over 4 days and was ordered from the owners of Sun and Moon, which is a very popular local chain for vegetarian food and one of their spots is located right beside the painting.
It is not necessary to be a street art fan to enjoy the masterpiece on this facade so if you are somewhere around (or in the area of NDK park) go check it and don’t miss buying something from the bakery.
