Magazinche is a popular shop for handcrafted items produced locally, with two locations in Sofia.
My recommendation is for the first shop they opened, located in Lozenets—a centrally located residential area. You will have the chance to enjoy a quiet walk in one of the oldest neighborhoods of Sofia. The difference can easily be seen: a lot of (old) houses, small blocks, paved streets, and cats, of course. At the same time, the shop is very close to the central streets, about a 12-minute walking distance from Patriarh Evtimiy Square.
Magazinche is easily spotted. The facade is covered with colorful drawings, and on the shop window, you will see all kinds of beautiful items. It is an Instagram-worthy place!
If you are looking for unique gifts, here you can find and buy local products such as jewelry, cosmetics, accessories, books, paintings, and decorations. All of them are made by Bulgarian artisans and crafters.
If you are in this area on Saturday morning, be sure to check the Farmers market at the Roman Wall. Otherwise, do not miss checking out the vegan restaurant Soul Kitchen.

The meatballs are usually served with cabbage salad, lyutenitsa dip & fries. As a Bulgarian, I find kyufte to be a comforting dish that never disappoints.
