About me

<strong>About me</strong>
I was born in Madrid, but I've lived here and there due to my job in the tech industry, having spent half my life traveling the world. Thanks to that, I've had the chance to meet people from all sorts of cultures and with diverse tastes.

This sparked my curiosity to learn more about how people live in their own countries. Eventually, I left the tech industry and spent more than a decade traveling the world, camera in hand, exploring cuisines that were new to me - I'm that friend who always gets asked for restaurant recommendations. My passion for gastronomy led me to cross paths with the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs, the world's oldest gastronomic society, and today I'm the Culinary Advisor for the Chaîne in Spain.

Recently, fate brought me to Barcelona, and, in some way, I decided to put down roots here as well, spending as much time in this city as in Madrid.

<strong>Why Barcelona?</strong>
It's super easy to fall in love with the Barcelona region, not just the city itself. It's small enough that you can go from the city to the mountains, and to the beach in just a few minutes; and it's such a culturally and gastronomically rich area that you couldn't devour it all in three lifetimes.

The energy of some of its neighborhoods is also captivating - like Born, Gothic, Verdi... - it's impossible not to want to get lost in its streets. Cava (sparkling wine) is also partly responsible for my decision to spend the next few years in Barcelona. Being able to be in contact with the wine producers, to know firsthand their stories and why they do what they do, made me want to live in the heart of where Cava is produced.
