About me
About me
Originally born and reared in Ireland, I've been living in Zürich since 2007 and am proud to call it my home! In the summer I can be found chilling by the lake, hiking in the hills and floating down the river. In winter, I hit the nearby slopes or hibernate in a cosy café in town.
Regardless of what I'm up to, there'll always be some good food involved. I'm a self-employed caterer and food blogger, so love to grab inspiration in the form of lots of bites and sips :).
Why Zurich
Having grown up with the unpredictability of Irish weather, I love the definite seasons here on the continent. The city is truly kitted out for the outdoor life, with great parks, beer gardens, cycle routes and walking trails.
The bar and restaurant scene is also vibrant and exciting. Along with some old faithfuls, there are loads of new places popping up on street corners to try out. There's everything here from great Middle Eastern to poké bowls to top-notch ice cream.
