About me
Like many others here: I love traveling, meet new people and explore new places and cultures. I built my own small house (my van Fred) and travel with it around Europe.
My second favorite hobby is: food. I love eating, cooking and trying new dishes. As I'm mostly vegetarian and care about sustainability, I always try to focus on places with similar values.
Why Cologne
Cologne is not the prettiest city in the world but has really good vibes and open-minded people. You can find lots of modern cute shops, restaurants and bars but also a historical city center and nature around. Cologne is multicultural and welcomes everyone :)
Where else can you find me online?
"Café Buur" in Cologne is perfect for me because it makes all-day breakfast every day! And not just any kind of breakfast, but every kind you can think of!

"Radio Sabor" is the biggest, most famous party for Latin & Afro-Caribbean music in Cologne. It's held every month in Club Bahnhof Ehrenfeld. Not to miss!

"Chum Chay" in Cologne is a Vietnamese vegetarian restaurant. It's as authentic as it gets, and I love that they have big and small versions of dishes...

"Mashery Hummus" in Cologne makes the creamiest hummus I've had in Germany! Their falafel and other Israeli specialties are also very very good...

"Brauhaus Scholzen" in Cologne is an ideal brewery to sample local food as well as beer. Who knows, maybe you'll also catch one of the spontaneous parties!

Wengo isn’t fancy, but it’s perfect for authentic, affordable Asian cuisine. Vegans and vegetarians get plenty of delicious options to choose from, too!

Next to saving some money, the most important is: You are saving food that would have been otherwise thrown away because of either the best-to-date or how it looks.
