Chum Chay Cologne – Vietnam in Cologne's backyards

Restaurants
""Chum Chay" in Cologne is a Vietnamese vegetarian restaurant. It's as authentic as it gets, and I love that they have big and small versions of dishes..."

As a big fan of Asia and of course Asian food, I know it is not easy to find good and authentic Asian food in Germany. So I was really happy when I found this little restaurant. It is next to a big shopping street, hidden in a backyard, and you will probably pass it if you don't know it.

Chum Chay is a vegetarian restaurant which offers a big selection of traditional Vietnamese food: Bun Hue, Pho Xao Sot Me, or Bun Cha Gio. The taste and atmosphere will make you feel like you're in Vietnam. I love eating and food, but I prefer small portions to have some space in my stomach for a nice starter or dessert :) So it's great that they offer some dishes in big and small versions.

Chum Chay is a perfect place to enjoy a good meal in a relaxing atmosphere to get away from the rush of the city center.

Next to saving some money, the most important is: You are saving food that would have been otherwise thrown away because of either the best-to-date or how it looks.
