About me
I’m Miranda and I’m a content strategist and freelance travel writer living in Rome.
Why Rome
I’ve lived here since 2016, and I’m still always finding new things to do, places to eat and beautiful sights to see that I’ve never come across before – that’s why this city is so magical for me.
When I’m not behind a computer screen, you’ll find me sipping prosecco in one of my favourite bars around the city – you’ll have to read my posts to find out which ones they are!
Where else can you find me online?
"Dar Filettaro" in Rome is a hole-in-the-wall kinda place off Campo dei Fiori. It's usually full of locals craving traditional fried baccala -- salted cod!

The "Circo Massimo Farmers Market" in Rome is perfect for sunny days. I love coming here, stocking up on groceries & enjoying a snack out in the courtyard

The "Basilica of San Clemente" is the one old building in Rome that managed to blow me away, when the Pantheon and Colosseum didn't really...

"Club Spirito" in Rome's Pigneto neighborhood is one of my favorite bars around. It's part speakeasy, part American diner - a perfect late spot for summer!

"Chiostro del Bramante" just around Piazza Navona in Rome is basically an art gallery, but you can enter and explore the building free of charge!
By
"Forno Monteforte" in the centre of Rome looks like a normal bakery, but the fresh bread and pizza al taglio offer so much more... Great aperitivo.

"Pasta e Vino" in Trastevere in Rome serves some of the best pasta dishes I've ever had in the city. It's cosy, with an upstairs/downstairs & good prices.

"Emidio Molinari e Figlio Vineria" in Rome is a wine bar that's more of a wine shop! Very down-to-earth and a real meeting point for locals after work!
