About me

About me
Montreal-born entrepreneur and founder of the e-health startup Gettreated.co, I made my home in Yerevan in 2011 with my wife and daughter.

Why Yerevan
Yerevan is an extremely well thought-out, centralised, and walkable city. Locals are warm and friendly, and the city's charm is much more than skin-deep. Peep into any courtyard to discover centuries-worth of history, traditions, and culture.

I also can't complain about the spectacular views on Mount Ararat.

Where else can you find me online?
You can find me on my medium page and on Twitter.

AGBU Building

Historic yet modern

The "AGBU Building" in Yerevan was originally built in 1906 and was demolished in 2000, though most of the stones were saved and was modernly rebuilt!

19th Century Rowhouses

They're still around

The "19th Century Rowhouses" on Abovyan St and Sakharov Sq survived the Soviet Union more or less intact. I always stop to appreciate them being there...

Thapha Bashi Mosque

Kond mosque

"Thapha Bashi Mosque" in Yerevan is the largest of the non-operating mosques in Kond. Even as a ruin, this building is impressive and good for exploring!

Abovyan Museum

The museum on top of a house

"Abovyan Museum" Yerevan: where Kanaker's most important son has been immortalised. I've always been a fan of his but there's something for all to discover.

English Park

Yerevan's natural Union Jack

"English Park" is Yerevan's oldest purposely-designed public park. I've been going there for years because it's surprisingly private despite being central.
