Spotter since 2025
I first visited Rome in 2015 and moved to the amazing historic center of the city in the summer of 2024. I have a professional background in community mental health. I think it has made me naturally curious about neighborhoods and connecting with the people that make them unique and special. I am also an animal lover and have incorporated working with them into my therapy and meditation practice.
Why Rome?
Rome is so easy to wander through, every turn brings you to a compact street brimming with history and culture! I feel so lucky to have the opportunity to explore all this city has to offer and that nearly every shopkeeper is as excited to meet my standard Poodle as we are to enter and admire stylish clothes, sip a perfect coffee or watch the city life with a spritz in hand (and a few aperitivo snacks to share with my pup).
Cartoleria Internazionali, one of Rome’s oldest stationery shops, offers notebooks, pens & art supplies — a charming stop between Campo de’ Fiori and Trastevere.
At Caffe ai Banchi Vecchi, start your day with coffee, cool off with Rome’s best shakerato, and end with a spritz at sunset in a charming piazza.
Caffe Novecento near Piazza Navona with its Parisian decoration, offers sweet treats, teas, and light bites. It's perfect for a calm break in historic Rome.
Rosso Eat Drink Stay near Circo Massimo serves brunch to dinner with Italian flair, a bohamian vibe, and must-try fries. Try it with dessert or limoncello!
Maccarone il Pastificio is a Roman hidden gem serving fresh house-made pasta like pesto fusilloni and ajo e ojo — simple, authentic, and unforgettable.
Castel Sant’Angelo is at once a monument, museum & archaeological site. Stroll the bridge, enjoy free entry on first Sundays, or relax in its green oasis.
La Focacceria di Rienzo in Prati serves fresh sandwiches, pizzas, and salads with a relaxed vibe — don’t miss the house-made focaccia and charming patio.
