Straight up, this is my fave place for lunchtime sushi. Samba sushi sits just by the Slussen tube exit, is located in a tiny locale and always simmering with people. Sometimes, the place is so packed you can't find a seat so you just pick up a take away order and sit outside on the curb and devour the sushi pieces from heaven (yes, this might have happened to me on numerous occasions). My favorite item on the menu is their "cream cheese and salmon"-roll: slightly blackened salmon, with cream cheese, pickled onions, tamago, avocado and chives, served with Samba's own sweet soy sauce. They also serve kick-ass vegan sushi and while you hang by the bar, you can indulge in some good old people watching on the busy street Götgatan outside the window.
Remember, this is a lunch joint, so I'd recommend a visit here in the beginning of the day or maybe as a place to have an early afternoon dinner before heading out on the town. The size of the portions is medium, so if you're very hungry order in a couple of extra sushi pieces. Or why not have an extra side order of calamari salad or edamame beans? It will tickle your tastebuds.
