First off, I just want to state that arts and crafts has gotten a bit of bad rep lately; not everything revolves around pottery classes, glitter or elaborate origami hubris. For instance, designing and creating your own personalized clothing gear is a pretty awesome thing and now with printing techniques being much cheaper and efficient, you can basically build your own collection in the matter of minutes. One place to get you started on this journey is T-shirt bar at Skånegatan.
T-shirt bar was first launched in 2012 by Juri and Joel as a shop where you could design and print your own shirts. They focus on t-shirts, sweatshirts, tanks and tote bags, either bought at the store or you can also bring your own garment to print on. They use a digital printing technique, which is quick and easy. If you have a pattern in mind, you can easily design it using their own online tool and send it in advance or you can drop by the store and use one of the computers available there. At T-shirt bar they also create their own prints, so if imagination is running low, browse the racks and maybe you’ll find something to buy or to get inspiration from.
I’ve stopped by T-shirt bar when shopping for Christmas gifts at the last minute, and 10 minutes later left with 2 new cool t-shirts in hand. A perfect gift, an awesome experience and first and foremost, such fun!
