Beit Hannah Harabi is a community center that opened in 2022 in a Bauhaus building in Florentin. It's the second branch of the original Beit Hannah (House of Hannah) at Ben Gurion Boulevard 75 in the Old North.
In the 1920s, a woman named Hannah lived in the house and she created a self-sufficient business for herself and other women living there by selling the local produce and becoming things like seamstresses and librarians. Back then it was all about female power and being responsible for their own lives.
Nowadays, Beit Hannah does different kinds of classes like ceramics, art, yoga, pilates and is a meeting place for like-minded people. Occasionally, there are events like fairs.
However, my favourite place there is the gorgeous coffee place Cafe Rabi which looks like a '20s-style store with design chairs and a beautiful yard.
