"Design Shop is a great place to find unique Tel Aviv souvenirs or original gifts."

I discovered this lovely design shop quite randomly while walking around Levontin Street. It's in a sweet corner of the city, a creative hub with many indie shops and nice cafes.

Some colourful posters in the shop window caught my eye, and I stepped in. The shop is full of fresh, inspiring graphic design items. I especially loved the minimalist design and retro chic.

Speaking to the owner, he told me the place opened at that location about a year ago. He runs a design studio with his partners, and they decided to turn the street-facing part of the studio into a design shop called Design Shop.

Design Shop is a great place to find unique Tel Aviv souvenirs or original gifts. It features some of the owner’s graphic creations, many of which have the city of Tel Aviv as their common theme. The baseball caps on the wall have patches with names of neighbourhoods in Tel Aviv. The beautiful posters that attracted me to the shop in the first place are part of a series called Tel Aviv City Scapes. Each poster shows a different part of the city as an abstract illustration.
