I love street art. The right piece of art can decorate the ugliest wall and make it into a hot spot for a visit, taking a picture or getting inspired.
A few weeks ago I was coming back from Jaffa's beach and I came across this colorful Lego Man graffiti. I was stunned by the colors of the piece and irony - Lego Man (famous brand) wearing an Adidas hat (another famous brand) -and spraying graffiti which usually symbolizes anti-consumerism and counterculture. Maybe the artist didn't mean to give his piece such a deep meaning but I found it very interesting.
After doing some research I learned that the artist who's in charge of this piece is James Ame, a British graffiti artist who is married to an Israeli woman. James loves to use the "Lego guy" figure in his art, and you can find his mini figures around the world, including locations such as London, New York, Tel Aviv and Bethlehem.
Looking for more street art? you should wander around the streets (Elifelet and Abarbanel) and hunt more cool graffiti pieces in Florentin neighborhood, the graffiti Mecca of the Middle East.
