Rothschild Boulevard is probably the most iconic street in Tel Aviv. You can't understand the vibes of the city without visiting this street. The boulevard crosses Tel Aviv from the south and reaches the center of the city. On the street itself you can find some historic buildings and monuments, for example in the south part of the street you can find Israel's Independence Hall, the famous location of the signing of Israel's Declaration of Independence. In the northern point of the boulevard you can find HaBima Theater - Israel’s national theater, and the Fredric Mann Auditorium, the home of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra. Around the boulevard you can see Bauhaus style structures - Tel Aviv's famous architectural designs.
Rothschild Boulevard is also the heart of Tel Aviv night life and restaurant scene. Walking around the boulevard you will see dozens of trendy restaurants, bars and coffee shops.
My favorite thing to do on Rothschild Boulevard is to take coffee from one of the coffee shops and to sit on one of the super comfortable chairs or hammocks which are located on the northern side of the boulevard.
