Ever since my adolescence years, when I found out I needed glasses to see the world better, I've always been looking for stylish and affordable glasses. And back then, you either compromise on one or the other. Luckily the optical market changed and now it is possible to buy chic and fashionable glasses at a price that will not make a hole in your wallet.
My favorite optical store is X-ray, an Israeli based store where you can find glasses and sunglasses in various styles that refreshes every season. So I always love to jump to the store (it has a pool like interior design, fun shelving that lets you comfortably wander around and measurement, unlike at ordinary eyeglass stores) and see what's new, and interact with the bubbly and nice sales team.
If you need your glasses to be customized with the lenses, you need to know your numbers or they can check it if you have a pair with you. It takes around a week to prepare the new customized pairs or if you just fancy a pair of sunglasses (not customized) for your time at the beach or visiting Israel with the sunny days, you should stop to check out the collection.
There are always deals such as 1+1 or the second pair at 50% off. The original prices are reasonable (around 300 NIS).
Another store located in Dizengoff center mall.
