Puaa is a popular spot in Jaffa that’s perfect for a good meal, Saturday brunch or just a drink with friends. The charming decor that the restaurant is famous for was created thanks to its location in the heart of the flea market in Jaffa. The place is decorated with antiques, second-hand and vintage items, a mix of furniture, paintings, dishes and other unique objects found around the flea market.
The flea market is a fascinating place for browsing and shopping during the day, and at night it turns into a nightlife hotspot with plenty of bars and restaurants, live music and great vibes.
Puaa has a great menu that is mostly Mediterranean and also caters for vegetarians and vegans. They have an all-day breakfast (try the Kibbutz Breakfast for a classic Israeli breakfast). They also have starters, salads and mains. Of the mains, I recommend the curried pumpkin dumplings with the homemade lemonade.
