Mon Cheri is a chain coffee shop in Tirana. If you've spent 24 hours in the city, you've probably noticed them on every corner. Well they make great coffee so it doesn't bother us that these shops have "conquered" the town.
At first Mon Cheri shops were visited mostly by high schoolers or students and it was kinda like a "teen" thing. But because they grew and became more famous everyone became a fan of their coffee and other products. And of course, like in most coffee shops, you can also find snacks and sweets.
According to me, what made it so famous and special is the great design all the shops have. It's different for all of them like urban and pop art style with worn out walls, big modern lights and quotes on the walls.
The staff is really friendly giving them extra points. Some of the shops are bigger than others and you can stay longer there since there is place for everyone and at the smaller ones you just have to grab a coffee and go (especially in the morning).
Anyways, the point is, I really suggest you don't leave the city without having a coffee at one of the bars, the one in the Bllok area is the best (in my opinion).
