Besides our 300 days of sun, unfortunately there are not so many great places in Tirana where you can get a good ice cream. So I am always in search of new places where to have a real good ice cream, and recently I found a very small new place that I really like, Gelato la Nocciola.
They use the Italian original method to create their ice cream flavors, made mostly by seasonal fresh fruits. The shop is very small and you can only take away your ‘gelato’ but it is totally worth it. Until La Nocciola Tirana was full of tasteless ice cream shops selling industrial products with no flavor and no fresh ingredients and that is why I like this place so much.
It is not hard to find even if it is not in the very center or the Blloku area, where all the shops are generally located, but a few minutes walk will be paid off by the fresh flavors.
