What's better than a box of full-size donuts? A box of MINI donuts! They're just so cute!
Fugo, just east of University Ave and Dundas Street West, has been serving up specialty mini donuts and ice cream delicacies since 2016. Their mini donuts come in flavours such as The Jelly, Nutella, Lemon Meringue, the Great Canadian Pig (maple & bacon!), Campfire Smores, and their two most popular - Reese's and the Mini Homer (a mini version of the iconic Simpson's donut).
Their donuts are made fresh to order and are a great affordable snack, ranging from 3 for $2.75 to 48 for $38.25.
Fugo also prides themselves on having photogenic - and delicious - ice cream! Their most iconic is the Cookie Monster which is two giant scoops of blue ice cream with mini Chips Ahoy cookies placed on top, all in an Oreo cone. As for their soft serve, Good Morning Vietnam (condensed milk coffee with vanilla soft serve, a chocolate wafer and a mini donut on top) is one of their top sellers along with the Tropical Paradise (pineapple and mango soft serve with mango nectar and a mini Homer donut).
A favourite of mine here is their Roasted 'Mallow hot chocolate, which tastes reminiscent of a campfire smore! As I spoke with the staff behind the counter, he hinted that new Fall menu items would be dropping soon - including exciting new drinks.
Fugo is one of my favourite quirky dessert places - serving both ice cream and mini donuts year-round!
