The more I age the more I find myself caring less and exploring more.
I do not like the San Salvario neighborhood because I attended more events in Piazza Vittorio or Quadrilatero. I was not into big crowds in the streets.
I had to take a step back and change my mind.
I was out with my friends and we had some change of plans for the night and had to find a nice place with some good food for one of us who was on an empty stomach...and with some free places for us even though we were last minute clients.
We found this place and noticed a different way to serve apericena and a chill atmosphere when we asked if only one of us could have food to eat.
You have to choose from dishes written on a blackboard (if you're inside they will take a photo and show you) and choose one entrèe, one first course, one main course, and dessert. Everything is served at the table, no need to stand and look for your food in some hellish buffet.
The pasta with smoked salmon was freshly cooked and was really remarkable.
They have a big cocktail menu. My friends enjoyed their passion fruit-based cocktails.
I think I'm slowly re-evaluating San Salvario, easily reachable by metro and not so crowded in the first part of the evening. Definitely worth a visit.
Next time I'm having apericena too.
