The Stanley Park Seawall is the number one place I recommend to any friend visiting Vancouver. It’s truly the best place to see the city, with fantastic views all year round. The entirety of the Seawall spans 28 kilometres: it’s difficult to see the whole thing in one go, but possible if you’re a biking fanatic. I’d recommend starting at Coal Harbour and making your way to Third Beach by bike.
Third Beach is one of three sand beaches along the Stanley Park Seawall, and one of my personal favourites. In the summer, it’s the one that many locals will flock to on a hot summer day, and in the winter, it’s still just as beautiful with gorgeous views of the ocean and the North Shore. Whether you’re looking for a place to picnic or an epic photo opportunity, you’ll be glad you visited. Third Beach is located near the Stanley Park Teahouse, but parking is very limited, so it’s best to leave your vehicle behind.
