A couple of years ago, "Niebo" opened its doors in Warsaw.
The word literally means Sky or Paradise -- you pick the translation you like the most. Hosted in an old sculpture atelier, this spot is well known around Warsaw for the concerts that take place here.
Personally I have been there several times, twice for concerts: once for AllahLas' concert and once for the "Piano Days" that the city hosts at different locations. This second one was really great, thanks to the acoustic of the place. Other times I've been there just for a drink or a bite.
I think the best thing about it is the limited space for the concerts. The room is quite big, but still does not host very crowded concerts.
The location has several floors, a patio with a restaurant (Raj) and a smoking room inside. It's not always open entirely as there aren't events every day. The best would be to check their Facebook page in order to make sure that there is something going on the night you decide to go.
Concerning the restaurant (Raj), it's not the cheapest, but they serve Hawaiian cuisine, and it is very tasty.
The music has a '90s mood, but it's got very eclectic style: Tricky mixed with Gorillaz and David Bowie. And the concerts -- it's probably the best club to watch alternative concerts in Warsaw without spending a fortune.
