STOR is a cosy café located on Tamka Street, a steep street going down to Vistula river that joins the Royal Road area with Powiśle neighbourhood. It’s rather small but that’s probably why it has such a friendly feeling.
The sitting area is limited to a long common table and a few coffee tables adjacent to the walls. Although there’s no outdoor terrace, on warmer days I usually sit down on a cushion on one of external window ledges – that way I feel like I’m sitting between the inside and outside. Thanks to the relaxed atmosphere I find the place particularly suitable for casual meetings with friends or… a date. After drinking your coffee you can carry on having a good time by having walk down Tamka Street to the river or one of the nearby parks. Since this place is located in a trendy neighbourhood where many freelancers live, you’ll also always find people working on their laptops while sipping their coffee, so if you’re looking for a quiet spot where you can write some emails undisturbed, why not come here?
STOR is mostly a coffee place, so I usually come here to drink one. You can choose from espresso-based drinks as well as the increasingly more popular drips or chemex. If you have a sweet tooth, you should definitely try one of the cakes, and for non-coffee lovers there’s also a decent selection of lemonades.
