Every every week in a park across from the Pentagon City Mall, there is an ultimate frisbee pick-up game.
This particular pick-up game has been going on for years. I honestly don't know if anyone can say how many years for sure. I like Virginia Highlands Ultimate pick-up games because the crowd that shows up is often friendly and laid back. The games are co-ed and very casual so both men and women of any skill level are welcome.
Games are every Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday morning. You should check the Facebook page before you go to make sure the game is still on -- especially if it's raining or snowing.
One of the other things I like about this specific pick-up game is that it's easy to get to. If you're driving, there's a free parking lot directly in front of the field. If you're taking the Metro, the Pentagon City Metro Station is only two blocks away.
