Spotter since 2021
I’m a native Washingtonian and have been in DC most of my life. I’m almost always on the go ―whether it’s at work as an emergency medical technician (EMT) or somewhere in the city even after I leave the hospital. In my free time, you’ll likely find me in one of three places: playing music, dancing, or playing sports. I like traveling, learning about good places to eat, and finding new music.
Why Washington DC
I love DC because it’s my hometown. But more than that, DC has the perfect mix of Northern and Southern culture. There really is something for everyone here. Do you want to visit a dozen free museums? Do you want to see a concert? Art? Sports events? Potentially run into a famous (or infamous) politician? You can do all of that (and more) here.
Where else can you find me online?
"Julia's Empanadas" is one of my favorite places in DC. While Latin food isn't hard to find in DC, empanadas can be, especially good ones...

There are a lot of places to dance salsa in DC, but "The Salsa Room" is one of my favorites. I like how patrons who show up are really here to dance....

"Hill Center DC" is an events facility with all kinds of activities, from wine tastings to ASL & cooking classes. It's a real under-the-radar location!

"East Potomac Golf Links" in DC is probably my favorite place to play golf in the whole world. The view is amazing - and it's surprisingly affordable!

There's an ultimate frisbee pick-up game that's been going on for years in a park across from the Pentagon City Mall in DC. It's so friendly and laid back there!

"The Bullpen" in DC is a great outdoor venue to go and hang out. I like going when they have special happy hour during Nationals home baseball games...
