"The Coffee Bar" is a wonderful coffee spot in Washington DC, in a somewhat quiet area. I love their outside patio to enjoy my coffee with some sun.

"LeTena" Washington DC takes a slightly different approach with Ethiopian food, somewhere between being a restaurant & a casual place. I love the prices.

"Kramerbooks & Afterwords" Washington DC's Dupont Circle is an old-school bookstore with a café/bar & a restaurant. It's one of my favorites of this style.

"ArtJamz" in Washington DC is cool. It's basically an art studio where I go to hang out with friends, a date, or just to destress with a drink & paint.

About me
I am a food lover and wanderlust at heart. Although I spend my day in the corporate world, you can find me eating and drinking my way around Washington DC at night. When not obsessing over food, I am playing a drum with Batala Washington or planning my next vacation.
Why Washington DC?
When people think of Washington, DC – politics is the first word that comes to mind. But DC is so much more than that!
DC is beautiful, clean, green, diverse, eclectic, walkable, bikeable, and is full of history. Seasonal festivals and events, tourists, farmers markets, restaurants, artists, bars, startups – all make for an interesting and complex city, and I don't plan on leaving it anytime soon.
