Araks restaurant has affordable prices and great food. Founded by Syrian-Armenian Ms. Jorjetta Ohanian, this place has some delicious Middle Eastern food. At first sight, it may look slightly chic, but in just a few minutes you will feel comfortable here. This place is great for having some quick lunch or a long dinner with friends or family.
My favorite dish here is the Krdieh. In fact, I discovered this dish right at Araks. It was the easiest dish to make and yet very delicious for my taste. And the cost is just about $3.
The falafel sandwiches are also popular.
The only minus so far has been allowing smoking inside, and yet, laws are being drafted currently in Armenia that will ban indoors smoking. So it will be even greater for spending some relaxed time around great food.
