Diamond restaurant/cafe is one of the oldest cafes in contemporary Yerevan. It used to be a pizza place but now, after re-branding, it has turned into a mix of different cuisines. The place, however, is famous for its location. It's located right in one of the buildings of Republic Square.
What is famous about Diamond cafe is its rooftop, which opens a magnificent view on Republic Square from above. During the summertime when the singing fountains of the square start to operate, it's especially pleasing to follow them from above with a cup of favorite drink.
Speaking of food, I do not recommend to order food at Diamond cafe, as the quality is below average and the prices are way above average. I would recommend not to take a risk and go for a simple coffee/tea just to be able to enjoy the view!
