Jano is one of the most delicious spots of Yerevan. The first Jano Restaurant opened in 1946 in Aleppo by an Armenian man Hagob-Jano Ghazaryan. When the war started in Syria in 2011 the owners decided to move the restaurant to Armenia. Jano offers Middle-Eastern food of superior quality. They also have food sets for groups to allow people to try a variety of their dishes.
Jano offers almost all kinds of kebabs and meats. The salads are also fresh and fulfilling. The Middle-Eastern appetizers are great as always. The atmosphere is nice, although it might be a bit noisy on weekends. I usually take my international guests to Jano for food and we try everything, so I can't specify a dish or two. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Overall, a good place to enjoy life with quality food!
