If you enjoy fresh food and love to explore local culture, this is the place for you.
Komitas (Arabkir) market is a local bazaar-style market where you can find all kinds of food. It's not a touristic place at all, so you might have a hard time with communication, but you will definitely figure it out. The prices of fruits and vegetables are very cheap and you can be sure that they are good and straight out of the village!
I really enjoy walking around and watching the sellers do their thing. Many people come here from villages to sell the fruits and vegetables they personally grow which makes me admire this place and people even more! You can also find village meat and cheese, which have a very specific look and taste. I also find a new type of food seasoning each time I visit this place. Friendly note: try not to breathe when you walk around cheese section, as the smell is awful.
