This is the perfect place for any motorbike enthusiasts visiting the city. Motorrad Hangar is predominantly a work space for people fixing up old motorbikes. You can become a full member and work on your bike on a regular basis, or you can just buy a one-day membership and fix a few bits on your bike.
I'm not a hardened biker but my husband is. He's been a member of the Hangar for the past few months and spends hours working on his Triumph Bonneville. I've since been inspired, and am planning on getting a vintage Vespa which I'll refurbish under the watchful eyes of the Hangar...
In the meantime, I while away my afternoons watching other people shine up and kit out old Triumphs, scramblers and Harleys. The atmosphere here is great, with friendly, helpful staff, a comfy sofa and a bowling alley in the basement! They also serve a very respectable coffee and when I get peckish, they even have a BBQ out front, so I can grill up a sausage to enjoy with a chilled beer.
